What do you say before you say, “good bye”?
The Psychotherapy of Grief
A 3-day Didactic & Experiential Workshop
Relational and Integrative Psychotherapy

Richard Erskine, Ph.D.
Sponsored by UK Relational Psychotherapy Association and The Manchester Psychotherapy Training Institute

A 3-day Didactic & Experiential Workshop: Friday, November 21 to Sunday, November 23, 2014
Manchester, UK

Death, aging and prolonged illness, separation and divorce, job termination and major disappointments all produce grief related symptoms such as denial, intense sadness or emotional numbness, confusion, and/or anger. This 3-day workshop will focus on the psychotherapy of loss and grief. Through formal teaching, discussion of the assigned readings, case presentations, and live therapy demonstrations we will explore the various forms of psychotherapy effective in the resolution of protracted, complicated, and anticipated grief. This workshop is for mental health professionals who want to apply theory in clinical practice and to enhance their effectiveness through supervision of their own cases.
