A 2-day Experiential/Supervision Workshop : Sunday and Monday, October 1 and 2, 2017

This two-day experiential and supervision workshop will focus on the centrality of the therapeutic relationship. Dr. Erskine will demonstrate the concepts of various methods of working within an involved therapeutic relationship.

This experiential workshop is for mental health professionals who want to apply theory in clinical practice and to enhance their effectiveness through identifying aspects of their own contact interruption, life script, and countertransference. Participants are invited to bring cases for supervision.

This workshop is designed for psychotherapists and counsellors who want to achieve excellence in using a Relational perspective in their therapeutic work. Participants are invited to bring cases for discussion.

Dr. Erskine will teach and demonstrate the concepts in his books Beyond Empathy: A Therapy of Contact in Relationship and Relational Patterns, Therapeutic Presence. Both of these books are available through

This professional development course will partially fulfill the training requirements for the Commission of Standards and Certification of the International Integrative Psychotherapy Association
