Compliance, Internal Criticism, and Withdrawal are each aspect of the Schizoid Process. This psychodynamics are reflected in the lives of many people seeking psychotherapy who present with symptoms of depression, relational difficulties, and/or social anxiety. Through lecture, discussion, and case presentation this workshop will focus on four different levels of psychological splitting and how to treat the resulting psychological fragmentations.

This experiential workshop is for mental health professionals who want to apply theory in clinical practice and to enhance their effectiveness through identifying aspects of their own contact interruption, life script, and countertransference. Richard and/or Amaia will do live therapy with some of the members of the group. They will then discuss the theory and methods used in the live therapy.
